The first burn.
When you first initially burn your candle ensure that the wax has fully melted and created a wax pool. This will make sure that your candles burn effectively and produce an amazing scent throw.
Trim your wick.
Every time before you light your candle make sure that you trim your wick to a size of 5mm as this will help prevent mushrooming and won’t cause a large flame.
Positioning your candle.
Make sure your candle is out of any drafts or areas that are likely to cause the flame to flicker excessively as this could lead to smoking.
Extinguishing your candle. Extinguish your candles with a snuffer. Blowing a candle out can cause uneven wax and may cause damage to you or your possessions.
